Health Equity

We are the partner of choice:

Change is incomplete if the life expectancy of marginalized populations in our communities is never considered. Addressing and solving health disparities between marginalized and non-marginalized communities is a critical aspect of our work. OneBarrow builds programs that tackle critical factors of accessible healthcare to increase the life expectancy of marginalized people around the world.

Our approach includes tackling:

  • Gender-related health issues.
  • Race-related health issues.
  • Age-related health issues.
  • Obesity in children.
  • Lack of access to appropriate health education.
  • Health-related issues due to domestic violence or relationship instability.
  • Unhealthy lifestyle choices or behaviors, such as smoking or vaping, can lead to future health issues.
  • Inaccessibility to exercise programs or equipment.
  • Social determinant of health and food security

Partnering with us will help put your brand investment to work in areas that can improve your community’s—and therefore your customers’—health.

To improve access to health care in the world, we partner to:

  1. Break down barriers. Such barriers include nutritional services, unmet health needs, lack of access to appropriate and necessary healthcare, financial burdens, and preventable hospitalizations.
  2. Utilize a population-centered health approach to tackle ineffective health care interventions.
  3. Improve access to underutilized health interventions such as health education or exercise programs.
  4. Expand health care access for those in low-income situations.

Our programs strive to address insufficient resources, inappropriate allocation of funding, and inadequate quality/delivery of effective health care within marginalized communities caused by challenges related to race, socio-economic status, gender identity, and level of education.

We develop strategies to increase effective interventions that will help our clients and employees through insurance coverage, rewards, and access to health facilities.
